Utne hotel has invited six artists from Hardanger, who have each been given their own hotel room to decorate.

They have chosen a color for curtains and cushions that harmonizes with the art they hang up. The choice resulted in six different colors for the rooms, which will be characterized by very different artistic expressions.

There are graphics, collage, oil and acrylic paintings and some «rose-painted wooden felt». Everything is ready to be sold straight from the wall, but there will also be an opportunity to buy unframed graphics. There are both large and small works to choose from.

– Normally you have to leave the art gallery at closing time. Here it is open 24 hours a day and you can wake up in the middle of the gallery and experience the pictures in a different light than the night before. The fact that you get more time with the art can do it more justice, says artist Judith de Haan.
